About Me

Arts & Crafts Tutoring & Empowerment

I am from the Caddo and Delaware Nations of Oklahoma. I am also of Irish decent. I believe my job as an artist and youth mentor is to hold up a mirror to the beauty and resilience inherent in our communities. In 2015, I co-created a youth mentorship collective with 5 other Native students. I ran this collective for 3 more years before moving to Tewa Territory in New Mexico, where I continued to tutor and offer arts courses to young people for free. I believe deeply in the power of Black and Indigenous communities and believe the freedoms of our futures rely on us telling our stories and seeing our own beauty. I grew up poor and remain so in my adulthood, and being that money is a colonial idea, I deeply believe in offering education to our people at no cost.
